Major bonus is central to case against OW Bunker exec

A bonus scheme is a central point of the prosecution in the appeal case against former OW Bunker executive Lars Møller, who went to court on Monday. Møller is fighting for acquittal, while the fraud squad wants to increase the penalty.

The drama surrounding OW Bunker's collapse in 2014 was partly reintroduced on Monday, when Danish court Vestre Landsret commenced the appeal case against former subsidiary CEO Lars Møller.

Møller was present and followed, in silence, the two prosecutors' description of how the subsidiary Dynamic Oil Trading in Singapore headed by Møller had provided credit for USD 156 million to a, financially speaking, very dubious partner, Tankoil.
