Head of Cross Asset Sales to SEB Markets in Denmark

We are looking for an experienced colleague to drive our advisory-based cross asset sales towards institutional clients. This is a unique opportunity to play an important role in developing our business within Institutional Sales and Markets in SEB Denmark.

Cross Asset Sales is a global team that primarily services our institutional clients with advisory and execution on strategies across various asset classes. Typically, this team will advise our clients on how to implement tactical or strategic overlay strategies, factor based investment strategies or thematically positions.

Business planning and servicing clients
You will have the daily responsibility for the Cross Asset Sales business in Denmark which includes business planning, product development and daily servicing of the client base. You will also have the responsibility of our listed derivatives business.

As a starting point you will be the only person solely dedicated to Cross Asset Sales in Denmark, but you will be part of our Institutional Sales Team with colleagues supporting your efforts from a strategy, research, trading and sales perspective. You will also work closely with dedicated Cross Asset Sales colleagues in other Nordic countries in order to exchange ideas and experience.

Apart from your daily responsibility for the Cross Asset Sales business in Denmark you will also play an important role in our business development within Institutional Sales and Markets. This is a unique opportunity for you to enhance several of our existing core strengths and expand our business into new profitable business areas.

Experience with advisory-based sales
To be successful in this role you need to have a deep understanding of the financial markets and the drivers behind it. Your knowledge of financial instruments is both broad and detailed but in particular you possess a thorough understanding of derivative markets – both listed and OTC. You have a proven track record within advisory-based sales towards institutional clients and you possess the knowledge and insight to become a speaking partner for senior decision makers among our institutional clients.

You have strong analytical and social skills, are ambitious and dedicated and understand the value of collaboration. Finally, you are highly motivated to work in a busy environment where you thrive on having a broad range of responsibility and are able to embrace the constantly changing market conditions.
